Family-owned dairy farms are at the heart of Wisconsin’s history, and a frontrunner in our current economy. There is much to be learned from a farm tour at Cozy Nook Farm. We offer an educational tour of our working dairy farm, taking participants such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and School Groups through the full life cycle of our cows. Lasting about an hour, each tour will see the baby calves, and move through their life cycle to adult cows producing milk. We will look at the food they eat, their size at each stage, and their habitats. In addition, we’ll discuss the economic impact of the dairy industry on the local, and national economy.
